History
The LTI Curriculum:
The Life Skills Course came from a large, 12-module curriculum that our organization developed for non-profit leaders. We recruited a team of 20 experts from the business, military, education, and non-profit arenas and spent eight years developing the 12 modules. The project cost over $1 million dollars. Over the last 20+ years, the curriculum has been used to train non-profit leaders in 200+ sites in 42 countries.

The Professional Skills Series:
In 2014, an $18 billion-dollar-bank, with 1,600 employees, located in Suffolk, Virginia, came to us and told us that they had observed a large number of the people that they were promoting within the bank had completed our non-profit leadership curriculum somewhere in the city. They offered to sponsor, and to help create, a simplified version for use at the bank. We spent a year working with the bank’s Vice President of Human Resources, the Training Director and staff to produce the eight-module Professional Skills Series.
The bank kept a version, and we kept a repackaged version for our own use. In 2015, we launched Momentum Makers, the marketplace division of LTI Corporation. The Professional Skills Series is used in businesses, corrections facilities, law enforcement agencies, and community centers.

The Life Skills Course:
Recently, many colleges and high schools have expressed a need for life skills training that can fit into a single semester. So, we strategically selected 17 chapters from the Professional Skills Series and produced The Life Skills Course. We added one new chapter, Managing Your Personal Finances, due to repeated requests for this topic. College & University, vocational school and high school students can now learn many of the key skills they will need for career and life success.
